LGBT Couples with Their Fertility Needs

Our doctors and staff are well prepared to care for the specific needs of gay and lesbian patients. We are able to assist with all fertility-related complexities unique to the LGBT community.

At Pacific Fertility Center, we are passionate about helping LGBT couples who wish to grow their families. LGBT fertility treatment has been part of our Los Angeles, CA, practice for decades, with very high success rates.

More Than 7,000 Success Stories

Pacific Fertility is an internationally known IVF treatment center. We are proud of our role in the birth of more than 7,000 babies in the U.S. and on six continents.

IVF and Additional Treatment Options

In vitro fertilization (IVF) success rates have greatly improved through the years. Advanced technologies now offer new tools to increase the likelihood of pregnancy resulting in a healthy baby. In standard IVF, harvested eggs are fertilized with sperm in our lab, and the resulting embryos are transferred to the uterus of the patient. Many heterosexual couples are able to conceive this way despite issues with ovulation or sperm that cause infertility. For LGBT patients, IVF can be accomplished with the assistance of egg donation, a sperm donor, or in some cases, donated embryos. For male and some female couples, a surrogate to carry the baby is also part of the process. Pacific Fertility Center offers LGBT patients assistance with every aspect of the quest to form a family. We can help you locate and select appropriate candidates for egg or sperm donation or surrogacy, and our physicians carefully screen chosen candidates to rule out medical or psychological problems. Female patients can undergo artificial insemination, IVF, or use a surrogate. Many male clients enjoy being part of the procedure as a surrogate receives transfer of their fertilized embryos.
