Dear Dr. Sahakian,

  It has been eighteen months since we begun the IVF procedure with Pacific Fertility Center. We would like to let you know how wonderful your office was during the entire procedure and how we decided on Pacific Fertility Center.

  We had decided to start a family in 1991, never did it enter in our minds that there would be any type of fertility problems. I was just going to get pregnant. After ten months I was not pregnant and we were getting a bit worried so we decided to get tested for infertility. Since testing for male infertility was easier, we started with my husband. It was discovered that his sperm count was low with little motility. We were then referred to an urologist.

  The urologist prescribed Clomid to try to increase the sperm count. This didn’t work. Next it was determined he had a varicocele, so he was operated on. Still no pregnancy. After that we thought I would try Clomid to increase the amount of eggs I ovulated along with artificial insemination. After several tries, we still didn’t have a pregnancy.

  After five years of procedures we didn’t know where to turn. Some friends of ours were also going through fertility problems and recommended we see Dr. Sahakian.

  Our initial visit to Dr. Sahakian was extremely informative. He explained why I wasn’t getting pregnant and what our chances were with the IVF procedure and how the ICSI procedure would benefit due to the problems wit my husbands’ sperm. Finally in September of 1996 we decided to try the procedure.

  All our visits to Dr. Sahakians’ office were made very pleasant by his office staff. We were not treated as a number but as people. When we entered the office we were always greeted by our first name.

  The IVF procedure went as planned and six embryos were implanted. Everyone at Pacific Fertility Center helped make the procedure very comfortable. From the nurses to the doctor’s everything was explained. In October 1996, I finally became pregnant!

  Today we have two beautiful daughters and we owe these two miracles to Pacific Fertility Center and Dr. Sahakian.
