Dear Dr. sahakian & staff,
My husband and i wish to extend our deepest thanks to you all, especially dr. sahakian. we were ready to give up getting pregnant after 2 unsuccessful ivf attempts and you convinced us to give it one more try. Of course, the 3rd time was the charm! I did a couple of things different from my end too. i quit drinking all caffeinated beverages, and received accupuncture each week prior to my transfer. I also did a mild cleanse in the early stages of the cycle, before i started the lupron. I had never done that before and perhaps it was just a psychological edge that it gave me but i did feel much healthier than i ever had before. In nov. 2002, i got pregnant w/ our son jack. he is now a healthy 18 month old with an immeasurable amount of energy, a huge vocabulary (says humble mom) and great comedic timing. he is a joy to us every day. when jack was 12months old, we tried again to get pregnant using frozen embryos from the previous cycle. we made 2 unsuccessful attempts and were going to stop trying. once again dr. sahakian was hopeful and suggested we try one more cycle using fresh embryos. i again underwent the accupuncture, 3 times before the transfer. i don't know if it helped as i did it the 2 previous times as well but perhaps it assisted my egg production. we had 2 very good embryos and 2 good ones. dr. sahakian implanted all 4 and i am currently pregnant again! we might even be having twins! it's very exciting. i'm feel very lucky to have received treatment from dr. sahakian. he has been nothing but supportive and honest throughout all of our proceedures.
